Creative Honeymoon Ideas

Now the marriage is over and you are alone it’s time for the 2 of you to chill and start enjoying your wedding.  Although the day is finished you will have the memories for a whole life, often over time a couple of the details will fade and it is vital to capture as much as you can on your marriage day and honeymoon.  The only way to relive the moments is by watching videos of the big event.  As you are beginning on your honeymoon, you’ll have to be the one to take videos as nobody would like a videographer tagging together with them.  Chances are that you employed a wedding Video Sydney based videographer to do the wedding shoot, but now you want to do it alone.  The majority of the cameras available today are so high tech that you’re going to be in a position to shoot some wonderful stuff as you travel around on your honeymoon.

If you haven’t shot any videos before, then you might need a few tips before you go on your honeymoon.  When you organized your wedding and hired a wedding videographer to do the shoot, they would be more than happy to give you some trade secrets to help you take some great pictures on your honey moon.  After the main wedding ceremony, there is always a long reception and this is a wonderful time to pick your professional wedding videographer for some ideas.  Just tell them that you’re going on honeymoon and could use some help.  As they’re taking photos of your reception they will show you a few things to help you.

One of the finest parts of arranging a marriage is deciding where to go for your honeymoon.  Gone are the days when couples spend their honeymoon by booking a hotel in an exotic country, drinking exotic drinks.  In today’s pocket-pinching times, you would want to get the most out of the budget you have for your honeymoon.  More than anything, this implies that you would need it to be as remarkable as possible.  Here are some creative ideas for you to consider.

Go on a historical tour.  If you and your fiance are the curious type and want to add to your knowledge, try this one.  Visit places that are often discussed in history books.  Check out destinations from the American Revolution.  Go to India and visit the places that made an impact in Gandhi’s life.  Make a journey to the boyhood homes of famous presidents like Lincoln, Carter, and Kennedy.  You may even go on a biblical history tour and bring the stories from the Bible to life.  Not only will you be learning something new, you also will be sharing this knowledge and these memories with the person you love by your side.

Go on a lighthouse honeymoon.  Lighthouses used to be important aids to navigation, often located along dangerous coastlines to provide help to incoming ships.  But because of the arrival of more advanced technology, they have become almost outdated.  These structures are still good for a purpose though.  Lighthouses are very romantic and secluded places, they’re even settings for 2 romantic stories and these make them the ideal setting for a honeymoon.  Some couples find it extremely romantic to cuddle up and watch the dawn, nightfall, and the blue waves from the best viewpoint possible.

Go on a literary greats tour.  Are you and your partner lovers of avid readers?  Do you love the classic literary greats?  Why don’t you go back in time and travel in the steps of classic authors and poets like William Wordsworth, Charlotte Bronte, Mark Twain, and John Keats.  You can go to London, which is home to a large amount of these greats.  Visit Missouri which was nearly a character in Twain’s novels.  Some of the houses of these writers and poets also double as museums so you can look at original manuscripts and even buy a copy of their works.

Go on a honeymoon mission trip.  Masses of people nowadays are opting for a different way to celebrate an event by helping out the less lucky.  Debutantes and other birthday celebrants would go to an orphanage, for instance, to hold their parties there.  Why not spend your honeymoon doing something that would benefit others?  You could go to a poor country and engage with the people there.  Study their culture and volunteer to join outreach organization activities for a month or 2.  This would be very memorable because not only are you sharing something significant with each other, you are also doing something that would make an impact in other folks’s lives.

Your honeymoon days will be some of the most unusual days in your life as a married couple.  The places you visit will also be great backgrounds for fantastic footage that you can take home with you and reminisce over.  You can look back at them even in the bad days and they’ll definitely give you a grin.
